Random Acts of Kindness Week

“What is Random Acts of Kindness Week?” you may ask… Basically, it’s a time to inspire people to practice kindness and “pass it on” to others. Maybe you’ve seen the posters up around town. In case you haven’t, here are our Kindness Challenges for the week:
Monday: Give a hug to a friend.
Tuesday: Smile at everyone you pass today.
Wednesday: Say thank you to someone who made a difference in your life.
Thursday: Give a compliment to a stranger.
Friday: Start a conversation with someone you’ve never talked to before.
If all of those seem too easy to you, you can find even more Kindness Challenges at The Bristol Hub, Holley Hall, and Mt. Abe.
We would love for you to share your stories about acts of kindness, poems, art, essays, kindness wishes, or proposed activities. Drop them in one of the envelopes we have around town at the Lawrence Memorial Library, The Bristol Hub, Holley Hall, and Mt. Abe. We’ll be putting some of the submissions up here on the website. Get ‘em in soon – we’ll be collecting the envelopes tomorrow afternoon.
We look forward to hearing from you all!
