I have two best friends and their names are Wendi and Sarah! I am an eleventh grader and I plan to go to college and work with children, maybe autism! Now you know a little about me!

Movie night and meetings

Hey everyone tonight is Pizza and movie night come on down and you can enjoy a night of The Terminator!
Monday night the reason why we closed early is due to some very important people! They are the “MAN” as they always say! We thank them a lot for helping us keep The Hub open! Also Brynna and I presented how The Hub is going to look in the future if we have our ways! Yeah maybe we can’t have the fairies and the pizza in the garden but the skate park expansion! Then after wards Jim had a talk with them about our budget! Go SELECT BOARD!

Lots has happened since you were here with us over the vacation! Bryn one of our formal employees went and received a check for The Hub from Governor Jim Douglas to expand our skate park! The check is for $3,000 It will be an even better skate park when we are done with it!
YAY!
We also received a $5,000 grant from Vermont Community Foundations fall community grant round!
The survey “What Vermont Teen Girls Say” was created by a panel of girls! The survey is for girls in grades 6-12!
It is sponsored by VT commission on women and Girl scouts at Green and White mountains. Click here to take the survey between now and Valentine’s Day.

Upcoming Events in January
Every Monday starting at 5pm there is free music lessons! Guitar, bass, and drums and any other day by appointment!
Every Thursday there is going to be PIZZA and a MOVIE! (of course it is from Cubbers)
Tomorrow is the Monthly Birthday celebration! So if it is your birthday! Then Come on it!
The 18th is Martin Luther King day! A day of Service and (Milk) We are helping the community!
The 20th is Camcorder day!
The 28th is open mic night!
The last event of the month is a fun DANCE on the 29th!

Big winds and closings!

Hello everybody! How did you like our no school yesterday! Well we
had lots of wind here at the hub as you can see above our tree is injured! Poor tree!
Also we are closing early today due to Dawn is in training and Jim is leaving.
So the hub is closing early! Also same deal tomorrow Dawn and Jim are not going
to be here so again the hub is closed tomorrow. Well hope you have a good weekend!
Holidays are coming!

We now have an amazing Christmas tree and we thank Alex, Clayton, and Patrick for decorating the tree with the lights and candy canes! We have started the holidays early with the tree and the making of the yummy sugar cookies! Also the hub got presents yesterday, VIDEO GAMES. Fun Fun. We love the Holidays!
