About 20 UNDER 20
20 UNDER 20 is an opportunity for anyone under 20 to take part in a photo challenge, practice expression and creativity, expand skills and understandings of visual arts, receive constructive feedback, and have work published and exhibited. If this pilot project is successful, similar opportunities will be made available in the future.
20 UNDER 20 is made possible in part by support from United Way of Addison County and Bristol Friends of the Arts.

Help the Addison Gleaners
Jul 27th
The Addison Gleaners help address food insecurity by harvesting extra produce from farms and redistributing it to people who need it. And you can help them with their important work!
On Wedneday, July 28th, meet up with Julie at 8:30am at the New Leaf Organics Farm Stand on Monkton Road to help with gleaning. It will go no later than 11am. Be sure to bring sunblock and water to drink!
Then on Tuesday, August 3rd, Julie will be bringing some of the gleaned produce to The Bristol Hub so we can help process and prepare it for redistribution. Be here from 10am to noon to help out!
Get involved in planning a Youth Summit
Jul 22nd

Addison County Prevention Partnership (ACPP) is organizing a Youth Summit that will be held at Middlebury College. The Youth Summit will be an all day event about debunking myths around alcohol consumption. There will be a keynote speaker, a presentation on data from the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, and a chance for youth to talk about effective messages to prevent youth from drinking. Groups will be formed and youth will be doing video interviews with their peers about what they like to do in their free time. It will be youth initiated and led.
So far, ACPP has been working with people from Mt. Abraham Union High School, Addison Central Teens, the Boys & Girls Club of Vergennes, Middlebury Union High School, and Middlebury College. Meetings will continue through the summer to get the summit going in October.
Now YOU have the chance to get involved or give your input about what would make the summit worthwhile. Join us on Tuesday, August 10 at 1pm at The Bristol Hub to talk about the summit, get more info, and enjoy some free pizza and drinks!
