The 5 Town Friends of the Arts, a Bristol-based nonprofit that seeks to support and facilitate the appreciation of arts in our region, has generously awarded the Hub a grant to support the Hub Indoor Art Project and Healthy Futures Outdoor Art Initiative!

This amazing grant will facilitate the painting of two new murals at the Hub – one on our expanse of new sheetrock on the interior west wall of the Hub, and one on the back of the half-pipe creating a sign for the Hub’s garden.   Continue reading “Thanks to the 5TFA!”

Teen Solar Night

Hi friends,

On Wednesday October 7th from 7PM to 8PM we are having a Solar Workshop at the Hub!

We are teaming up with SunCommon, a mission-driven solar energy company based out of Waterbury Center, to learn more about the clean energy future. You and your parents are invited to the workshop to make the decision to go solar together as a family. Everyone has the right to a healthy environment and a safer world- and clean energy is where that starts. SunCommon has made it easy and affordable for all Vermonters to go solar, and that’s what R.J. Adler, SunCommon’s Addison County Community Organizer, will tell you more about during the workshop. You can play a big part in helping your family save money and go solar!

Again here are the details:

E-mail for more info and to sign up!

We’re going hiking!

Brian will lead a hike to Bristol Ledges on April 22nd (we’ll be meeting at the Hub at noon)!
A short but steep hike with an ascent of 960 feet; incredible views of Bristol and the Champlain Valley and bound to be tons of fun!

Don’t miss this adventure, make sure to bring a water bottle!

That’s right! The Hub is having another LOCK-IN. APRIL 23RD INTO APRIL 24TH!

That’s a full night of:
video games
hide and seek
ping pong

It starts at 9PM and goes until 9AM Friday morning. Once the doors lock there is no getting back in! You’ll have to fill out a permission slip so don’t hesitate! We will limit this to 25 people. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.
