Last week at the Hub we had 36 individual youth generate a total of 85 logins over the course of five days. An average of 17 logins per day.
During that same week in 2017, we had 52 logins over the course of the week (generated by 27 individual youth) which was an average of 10.4 logins per day.
Here’s how those numbers break down by town and gender served.
We had a fun week of good food, board games, video games and much more.
On Wednesday, I met with Zoe Kaslow (of Addison Central Teens) and Jill Strube (Vergennes Boys and Girls Club) for our second monthly teen center meeting. Among many topics, one that stood out was talking about food and nutrition in general… a lot of fantastic resources came out of that conversation, and there will be more info on that topic next week.
On Thursday, the Recreation Department met with Kelly Hamshaw from UVM CDAE (also a Bristol resident) to follow up about our introduction to her class last week. Many students are interested in working with the Hub and we’ve designated the research they’ll be doing to be focused on understanding how we can evolve our programming to incentivize more female and non-binary students from Mt. Abraham to utilize our offerings.
Moises is first in line to Taco Tuesday!
Gwen enjoys the delicious Chicken and Rice soup (and awesome bread made at the Hub with youth’s help!)
